The unemployment rate in Emanuel County eased a bit from 9.5 percent in revised March numbers to 9.1 percent in April of this year in data released by the Georgia Department of Labor. Unemployed persons in the county fell by 41 to 876, the total number working also dropped, falling by 32 persons to 8,742. […]
