Schools set open houses

The Open House and Orientation Schedule for Emanuel County Schools has been announced. At Swainsboro High School Orientation is Monday August 4th. For 9th graders it’s 1 to 3 p.m., and 4 to 6 p.m. for 10th through 12th Grades. Also, Monday August 4th is open house for Twin City Elementary, 5 to 7 p.m.
Several Schools have Open House on Tuesday August 5th. At Swainsboro Middle School it is 3 to 5 p.m. Swainsboro Elementary is 2 to 4 p.m., and Emanuel County Institute holds open house 6 to 7 p.m.
Classes will begin Wednesday, August 6th for Emanuel County School Students.

Also important this year is the new dress code procedures that require uniform dress for students 6 to 12. This includes, black or khaki colored pants, and Polo or Oxford style shirts in solid colors of white, black, grey, khaki and a school color of gold or yellow for Swainsboro Middle and High, and red for Emanuel County Institute.
